Mike Hendry is a surgeon scientist who currently specializes in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with a clinical interest in peripheral nerve, hand and wrist surgery. He received his undergraduate biology degree focusing in molecular biology and genetics at Queen’s University, after which he completed his medical degree and residency training at the University of Toronto. During residency, Dr. Hendry participated in the surgeon scientist program and the Royal College Clinical Investigator program, studying aspects of peripheral nerve regeneration under the supervision of Drs. Gregory Borschel and Tessa Gordon. Dr. Hendry began his appointment at Queen’s University in August of 2018 after completing his hand and wrist surgery fellowship at Harvard Medical School in Boston.
